Spring Education: Delta dress with Cindy Foose

Cindy Foose is leading our annual three day education workshop March 3-5, 2023 at the Toddhall Retreat Center (Wilson Hall) in Columbia, Illinois.

CLASS

Delta Dress and Slip classes are taught seperately, each requiring their own supplies. Students are welcome to bring their own fabrics (requirement charts available here), or purchase kits at an additional cost. 

Slip kit includes: 58" wide white Pima cotton batiste for the no biases version, ½" lace edging for the bottom of the slip, buttons for the button down the back version.

Delta kit has four options: 

• Casual with contrast (fabric style 1,2,3,4)
• Casual no contrast (fabric style 1,2,3,4)
• Linen check with white linen contrast
• Dressy (pink or blue linen) without contrast 

Causal kits also include fabrics, woven fusible interfacting, buttons, and 60# white sewing thread. 

Dressy kits also include fabrics, woven fusible interfacting, mother of pearl buttons, and 50# cottong sewing thread. 

LODGING

The Toddhall facility provides food and lodging. Meals begin noon on Friday and will be served until noon on Sunday. Rooms are available in single or double occupancy. Lodging rooms are attached to the classroom. Each lodging room has two twin beds and private bathroom. 

• Double occupancy: $80/person per night with meals
• Double occupancy: $57/person per night without meals
• Single occupancy: $107/person per night with meals
• Single occupancy: $84/person per night without meals

*Please note -any changes to kit color choices must be made before 1/25/2023 due to the fact that we have to order all kits so they can be prepared and shipped to us prior to the workshop.
