Let's teach the next generation of sewists and spend an afternoon with our kiddos learning basic embroidery stitches. Everyone will take home a kit to complete a pillow.

What's going on
Calling all children 6-15 who are interested in learning about embroidery and sewing basics! This three hour instructional course is for member children who will each receive a kit to complete an 8" embroidered pillow.
Sit with your kiddos in small groups to learn basic embroidery stitches, then work on straght sewing on machines. Finally, hand sew the pillow shut for a cute and simple beginner's project.
We'll offer light snacks to keep our energy high and free parking is also available north of the church on the corner of Skinker and McPherson.
